there's an old boy near me in the LL stand - leaves about 10 mins early as he struggles with a walking stick and doesn't want to be pushed down the stairs. been going to celtic games all his days. is he a *>??

    i think not.

Closing the gates behind the north stand is a joke and * many off but thats no reason to leave early is it? Just walk along the stand a bit and exit from a gate on the other side :50:

Anyway as I'm trying to say I used to get angered like celtboy in his original post, if you dig back far enough you'll find one of mine near enough the same. Now I have moved on in my opinion and couldn't give a * who does what. The home support is a joke if you compare it to the accolades we've won. The silence, the empty seats and queues to get out at 80 mins gone are all reasons for my opinion.

You can't judge others for leaving early, they might have the own reasons for leaving early which they can't avoid or just leave and have the right to do so. I would rather it didn't happen but it does.

Its a complete * after the huns game as you obviously cant go down london road, so you basicaly need to go back up towards the forge then walk right round.

Where I sit in 445 you've no chance of walking along unless you have a harness and a good method statement.

The silence and empty seats are bigger issues, but as you can see reading through some posts on this thread, people have many varying reasons for leaving early.

Just don't tar everyone with the same brush, that's all I'm saying.

    I don't :50:

I know plenty of folk who leave early and I know all the different reasons, as I've been trying to say, I don't care what others do. Celtboy is still at the stage where it annoys him as he wishes the Celtic support to be at its full potential at every game, as I used to be. Fact is its never gonna happen, too many rules, high ticket prices and a society thats lost the plot are the real reasons why the atmospheres the way it is :50:

The early leavers are never missed though :bbpd:

Yeah but Celtboy opens a thread sayin everyone leaving early is a '*' and you've called them 'imposters' and said they shouldn't be there in the first place.

I accept theirs issues with the support and agree with a lot of what you say, just think a lot of it is OTT

    good shout

this is a poor choice of post tonight after a good win and the post title is pathetic .

we are all celtic fans and should be celebrating tonight instead of arguing.

    IMPOSTERS

I use that word because Celtic fans like to claim they are the best supporters yet only a minority have the balls to stand up and support their team in a manner deemed to be better than any other supporters group.

Fact is its a minority who sing every game and stay the 90 and always do us proud home and away, the rest who attach themselves to this idea of a supporter are imposters.

    I don't like it either but I don't know people's circumstances so I can't judge.

With the amount of people leaving early these days you'll actually miss the traffic if you stay to the end. The stadium was nearly empty by the time i left today!

I agree, these people who insist on leaving early get on my wick, especially when your trying to watch the game and you have to keep * stand up to let them past.

i didn't leave early today but have so on a number of occassions. but it is never - at an of or cl game -and never when we are struggling to win a game .

i normally leave early when we are well in front against a mediocre side and it is freezeing cold and don't see the point in having to walk home just to see celtic pass the ball about for 10 mins not even looking for a goal .

it dosen't help when the atmosphere is as * as it is at cp thease days.

there you know why people leave early now so leave them alone :47:
