6327 posts already in this thread and I doubt anyone has actually posted the truth. Fact is booze is a killer!

I had my mate die and his funeral was last week. The cause was liver failure, the * booze is what killed the man. 47 years old, left 3 kids behind, 2 young, without a dad all because he couldn't get off the booze. RIP Tony mate, YNWA

So all I'm saying is folks, most of you are young, drink is bad for you. Drink * up your insides and can ruin your life. I'm absolutely disgusted at this fact doesn't get talked about. Because it is legal doesn't make it OK. Scotland is a nation of boozers brought up on it and think its cool but when you see people die from it then you start to realise how bad it is.

DRINK KILLS YET THIS IS THE BIGGEST THREAD ON TC

DONT BE FOOLED, ITS A POISON!!!

Sorry to hear about your mate, I had a friend who died 3 years ago and he was only, 35 his drinking buddy died a year before that.(both drink related.)
Most people who have drink problems don't talk about it,the last thing they do is boast about it.
Let the troops enjoy the drunken banter.
The thread has a lot of posts but look at the dates they are not there every day.
I am sure that people will appreciate your concerns though. :50:

Aye mate we all enjoy the drunken banter, I'm ruff as a badgers the noo, just had to post that though. Never do many discuss the risks of booze. Scotland has a big problem with it and we kinda are proud of how we drink yet it ultimately kills us.

Now I'm away to the fridge for a curer.....sad I know

sorry to hear that mate. well my schedule looks sexy. still got work till satuday 6.30 (then off for a few months!!!), football game, drinking time with my mates..... and a special day on monday -> beer destruction on sunday evening.

it's still my fav beer, although haven't been able to drink it much lately. only a few shops sell it these days and it's as expensive as gold. I stick to swiss beer at the moment.
