I thought it looked * but I've only heard good things so far, going to cinema on Wednesday to see this or the inbetweeners, undecided just yet.

Definitely give it a watch at some point. Far from your typical superhero film, it's really different. As I said, it's hilarious as well. At least half a dozen times where a good percentage of the crowd were * themselves laughing.

If you've seen any Marvel film before you've basically seen this one but with other characters. As I've previously said, I don't get all the good critique this movie is getting.

Therefore it's very different. These are completely new characters, and more interesting than the Avengers.

It's nothing like the previous Marvel films.

Are they really "completely new characters" though? Think about it. You liked the movie and everyone has a right to have an opinion, so fair enough. But it's not an 8.9/10 movie as it currently is on imdb. Movies like inception have 8.8/10 and the return of the King has 8.9/10.

Local Hero, great music, great scenery, great characters and a great story. The Shawshank Redemption and all the great movies are good but nothing compares to the feeling after watching Local Hero.

Yes they are. The "Guardians of the Galaxy" - as in the 5 main characters - have never been portrayed in film or TV before, so yes they are "completely new characters".

I'd say it is to be honest. LOTR films are my favourite ever but taking them for what they are, Guardians of the Galaxy is just as enjoyable.

I watched the new Captain America last night, it was ok. Good fight scenes.

Just watched To Sir With Love. Again.
Judy Geeson, Suzy Kendal, Adrienne Posta, Sally James and Lyne Sue Moon.
    All gorgeous actresses.
Music great and Sydney Poitier was brilliant in this film.
