The keeper could also have been Ally Hunter
This was a great team and I agree with your comments elsewhere about Tommy Callaghan, he was an undervalued player in my view. Amazing to think we could be so fussy about him.
Talking of being fussy... I think the correct names should be Jim Brogan and Stevie Murray

    Hail hail

A favourite team of mine would be the following from 1977
Latchford, McGrain, Lynch, Aitken, McDonald, Stanton, Doyle, Glavin, Craig, Dalglish and Conn
    Subs: Edvaldsson, Wilson and Burns
Really believe this team could have gone on to do something in Europe but at the start of the following season we lost Dalglish (to Liverpool) and Stanton and Conn to long term injuries.
I have been lucky to see many great teams but why is this one so special?....

It was Big Jock's final trophy winning team

    5-1 to win the league.

I took a hefty doing from two of Paisley's finest that day on behalf of some other * throwing coins...wasn't * nice either!

Probably my favourite Celtic team ever had we were really that good that if the likes of Balde came off injuried, Kennedy,Mjallby,Sutton could have came on to replace him, so much backup that season...
