There are no suggestions that sectarian songs were sung.

As far as I am aware nobody was asked to remove Palestinian or Basque flags. The GB banner appears to be the one that caused controversy.I think you are on shaky ground if you are suggesting that the board and police are the best judges of what constitutes a political flag. There are many flags on display at CP,indeed the Basque flag flew over the Jungle for many years. What's different now?

I stand by my point about the previous board.Unquestioning obedience is not a trait I associate with Celtic supporters, until recently that is.

thats another issue. . .We all know breach of the peace can be branded by strathclydes finest under any circumstance they see fit.

I re-itterate. . .Celtic has always had a political undercurrent. . .There is no denying that.

We were founded due to political issues. . . I'm proud of Celtic fans political stance over the years. . .

The home rule in Ireland, The flying of the tricolour, the demonstration against Poll Tax, The support of the timex workers. . .The list goes on and on.

How is removing the flags or making ground rules a money making agenda?

Yes, we are a business, all football clubs are and you have to be to compete.

this isnt the start of the harshness by the polis i sit around in the south west corner and sometimes i move round to next to away end when my pals get tickets for there and there is no-one sitting there and everytime we moved round we suffer this harshness from these people which i think is disgraceful, it got that bad that we were told not to sing the jimmy johnstone song as there were complaints which i find hard to believe, and me myself bein constantly stared at by one of the officers and as soon as i stared at him back he approved me in a provoking manner and made me feel quite intimidated, this has happened a few times and i think the fans should stand up as we are the people who are putting money into the club and the polis are there to stop sectarianism and fighting or people going onto the park, its a disgrace and these polis officers should get a grip

even if uefa or whoever deducted us points for singing songs that we thought were traditional?

I hear what you are saying to a certain extent but see no reason why fans would need non celtic related flags etc in the stadia.

Maybe you dont see any reason for it, but a lot of people do.

we have never been called into question by Uefa, lets not get caught up in that because it is nonsense.

Barca, Atletic Bilbao St. Paulli, Dortmund, Boca Juniors and plenty of other clubs sing political songs.

As a club we have been told by the club that uefa will take action on songs perceived to be sectarian - and lets be honest, these songs exist and could get us into trouble.

We can sing plenty of songs and fly plenty of flags in support of the club...its the side issues that are not welcomed by the club and sections of the support....that alone is a breach of the peace.

Give me a song you think would be deemed as sectarian.

this is were we differ on the issue. . .You seem to think that the club is a select people who sit in board meetings. I think we the supporters are the club.

I dont understand why sections of the support are so offended by things that have happened all throughout the clubs existance. I think that says a lot more about them than anything else.

The board run the club. That is fact. Otherwise we would be in limbo and we would be deciding who we sign etc. They are in charge. If fans dislike the board or the way the club is run they will stay away in huge numbers....they are not. The stadium will be full on sunday.

There are many songs with add ons that are sectarian that all celtic fans are aware of.

If fans dont like it they can stay away. Its simple really.

Honestly tell me how this can be considered detrimental to the club? It's moral panic at it's purest.
