Not true. If the club considers that flag to be flown in support of a political agenda/party then they can confiscate the flag and/or throw out the person waving it.

    ahahahaaaahhahaaa :56:

    PMSL

That video just demonstrates everything about the GB which I had suspected. A bunch of spotty students who are desperate to appear to be 'Bad Boys'.

A police helicopter flies over CP after every home game and I walk past police horses behind the North Stand at every game, that proves * all.

We're not employed by Celtic we're supporters and we're supporting what we support along with supporting Celtic.

    Support.

    spotty students

i think therin lies the problem, if some of our younger fans did know "their history" and that of the other groups/regions/countries/people they decide to represent at a football match, then we would nt have some of the non Celtic related subtext to their displays

ie, an increase in cranial capacity with a sprinkling of life experience and a modicum of common sense would see an altogether different approach

i really think some people have very short memories.

For a start the "social mission statement" was published in 1994, after over 100 years of the clubs exsistance. Ingrained in the clubs history it is not.

whatever any board member thinks at any particular time, football is nothing without fans, to quote a famous statement.

Celtic is a club for all. People need to be aware of that, it seems to me the people that have a problem with the GB or any other supporter that doesnt want to cow tow to the clubs Pravda, are being discriminated against.

I am over 30 years old. . .I have had a season ticket since 1991. . .Dont start telling me what the club does and doesnt stand for. . .We are the club, we own the club, we pay for the club, and we saved the club. . .

Celtic has always had a political side, if people dont want to accept that then they are diluding themselves.

If fans sing songs that bring the club into disrepute (i.e sectarian songs) or fly flags that the club or strathclyde police consider flown to make a political statement or to taunt rivals then their say is final.

The last board was completely different scenario and more financial and football issues rather than the subject being discussed here.

I believe the fans are the club but there has to be control over things...you cant have fans dictating what goes on and what doesnt at every turn.

i can see what you mean and dont disagree, but by the same token, the fans have a right of expression, and som fascistesque policies wont work either.

Its not a one way street.

You would need to know what law you are breaking....breach of peace or whatever to determine that....failing to comply with a lawful order from a police officer is unlawful..... lots of things are unlawful at sporting grounds that many fans dont know...like drinking from a can of coke...

It sort of is...celtic have decided. If the fans agree with the views of the fans with the flags that dont 'comply" then they would stay away to make the point if they feel that strongly....i dont think many will though
