just re[ported on clyde that celtic will make a bid over the weekend that will probably involve a few fringe players going to hibs but they dont fancy killen and wgs says no way odea is going anywhere . I like fletch but wanted us to get ched evans although thats maybe outwith our control there

 

No better than samaras ??? I really dont get what people see in this guy. If samaras was 2 million Fletcher is worth the 3 million easy.

Also all this left back stuff... Its not a case of sacrificing a left back to bring in fletcher. . .There is obviously no left backs available.

 

Think the lads suggesting a couple of fringe players being offered is correct.

Killen and Caddis are the ones being mentioned.

If thats the case then Fletcher would only cost around 1.5 which i think is fair enough

 

I hope with everyone saying Caddis that it's a loan deal and not permanent.

If it involves a swap + money and Killen I'm all for it but £3 million in my books can't be justified.

well killen is rumoured anyway to be the swap, but i wouldnt be suprused if those two players were chucked in so he could have an option of 3

 

i've never rated Fletcher as an out and out striker tbh , just my opinion but i always thought of him more of an attacking midfielder

and if it was a deal to include Caddis going the other way , i would say no thanx

lol well euan just said that on the hibs site they posted that a verbal bid for steven fletcher has been rejected from another SPL club assuming celtic so looks like it wont happen

we need a striker and a left back the most, no more midfielders yet, 3 strikers arent enough, proved that earlier in the season when sheridan was playin with mcdonald with samaras and JVOH out, and also had to play champs leauge without 2 decent strikers
