Did you not remember what WGS said a couple of days ago about players not leaving the EPL because the money is double what our better players are on? Kovac got an offer from West Ham that was more money, i don't know if Cech will or won't. I'm pretty sure, however, we can afford to pay more that what Hibs are paying.

I think this would be a brilliant signing, this guy was wanted by madrid, he is class and in a good team will score a barrel load, (Only 21 years old) * the huns must be * it now, and he is scottish which has added benefits to us!:icon_mrgreen:

 

i really dont see celtic spending that much on one players after the four we have already coming or here.

 

I've not seen enough of him to be able to form a decent opinion but who's putting the 3 million figure about? Is that paper talk or have Hibs actually asked that for him?

If so and this goes through....we could probably have bought Hibs, lock stock and barrel for 7 or 8 mill instead of spending that on 2 players

 

Never have rated this guy, will be disappointed if we spend a lot of money on him.

 

I like Fletcher but he's hot and cold and a bit of a diamond in the rough in my opinion, depending on the fee I think it could potentially be a good deal.

 

I think we will get him cheaper with Killen going to Easter Road.

I'm in Switzerland, so this is the first transfer news I've heard since Tuesday and I'm * delighted. I was on before saying how I spent 20 quid to watch Hibs play Caley, for no other reason than to catch him in the flesh. If we only get Flood and him in the window, I'll be delighted. So Samras isn't a 20 goals a season striker?He was on 11 goals in 11 appearances before his injury and is on about 15 now.If he hadn't go that knee injury he would be well on course for 30 goals this season.

My mate's brother met Fletcher in Glasgow last Saturday night after the game, and he said hes desperate for a move to Parkhead Just heard on Radio Clyde that Celtic will put a bid in for Fletcher over the weekend and it should go right down to the wire...
