looked well together yesterday crosas is happy sitting back and letting brown bomb forward, it worked well for the 3rd goal when brown set it up by charging down the right. Hopfully WGS plays them together more often so they can form a great partnership for years to come:shamrock:

Yeh I thought it was good to see them back together as the CM combo again, Crosas always has time on the ball and has a pass in his mind before he receives the ball. There was a point yesterday when Hibs were in our box and everyone was panicking but Crosas picked up the ball, walked it out and calmed things down.

As for Brown, after starting the season slowly and having calls from many for him to be dropped - Myself included - he now seriously looks the business. Already said it on the POTY thread that I think Brown must be favourite for it at the moment.

i think brown and crosas have the potential 2 become legendary.... browns energy and crosas technique are a great combination.... they work great together already imagine how that partnership would work after they get to know each other a bit better and after they gain more experience.... that is if barca don't take crosas back!

Crosas is a much better option than hartley and should get a run in the team.

Will be interesting to see who plays in our midfiled when everybody is fit

We should start to build the team round these guys. Both young , talented and have great potential and hope we keep them for years to come

I think the way things are going with GS buying these youngsters ,in maybe 2 years time that team could possibly be the youngest to win a league ,if these players flourish and stay as a team they could be a formidable team in time .

Im really pleased its not only me who sees this.Everyone I speak to says Hartley does a good job,I think he is limited in every part of his game.He offers no passing apart from square balls to the full backs who then need to punt it.He wins three balls a game and people say he is good at breaking up the play.Crosas offers so much more.

Crosas is the future of the team in my opinion.

They certainly compliment each other very well. Brown offers the power and physical work and Crosas the thought and technique. Given time to form a steady partnership they can easily cement their position as the best midfield partnership in Scotland (not that they aren't the best already, of course :50:)

The fact that Crosas' ability to pick a pass is matched only by Nakamura, Brown has a lot of freedom to get into places and makes runs that Paul Hartley wouldn't be able to pick out or thread pass to. That Crosas is ahead of the game in a way that'd make a master chess player proud, offers us more sophisticated (for want of a better word) cover and lets Brown off the chain somewhat. The difference is massive, really.

Ah yes the Brown / Crosas partnership. WGS must have been reading my posts fro months ago. It will be legendary if we can keep both.

we can only hope that barcas staff don't rate him as highly as we do! besides barca have xavi, toure, iniesta, hleb and others who can play in cm! and if they compare crosas to those guys they might just let him stay with us! :50:

Crosas did a really good work, he can be a great player for celtic and I think he is prepared to stay in SPL for years.
In the other hand, I dont think Barça want him back, so many midfielder quite better than him

Even if Barcelona want him back he might not want to go back!
