    The ironic thing is that after the first 4 pens, the only one which wasn't so much a pressure kick was Loovens and it was the only miss lol.

    I thought both teams served up a good match and I can't believe it was nil nil. Extra time was exciting. I feel for Utd but hopefully they'll bounce back at the weekend. Looking forward also to signing Flood and Zaluska. That was a typical performance from Flood tonight and we've been a bit short of his urgency at times.

    Naka and Crosas were just phenomenal tonight for me.. So calm and composed. Wasn't the greatest of 90 mins but when in ET, the game got better and what an ending eh ? OHHH ARTUR BORUC, THE HOLY GOALIE..... :celt_2:

    A word for the manager as well, the 2 changes he made altered the game. Robson and Samaras came on at perfect times and both made an immediate impact.

    If Sammy scores that header from Robsons cross it's hailed as a tactical masterstroke.

    Think that game aged me a good few years, before the game I was saying I don't really care about the Co-Op cup but it's funny how things change when the game starts. The pens were unreal.

    They were the right moves although I'd have pulled McGeady off earlier. He looked like a wee boy tonight.

    The game changed alright when Robson started competing with their strong midfield.

    Credit to Strachan though as you say. The only trouble was that there wasn't any other replacements for fresh legs. Robson could have played in various positions around the park and therefor is an ideal sub but Hartley for me could only really replace Crosas. Perhaps, to be fair WGS was thinking he wouldn't last the 120 mins though like he did.
