Gordon Strachan a Celtic Legend Appreciation Thread

Dunno bout use guys but look at Strachan statistics 3 in a row last 16 2 yrs in a row except this year small budget for players etc etc i mean in lat ten years who has topped that but yet guy still gets stick i was at parkhead and i started singing only one gordon strachan and the fans the so called celtic fans starting booing at me and telling me to shut up ?

yep , i feel sometimes like banging my head against a wall with some of the critisism he gets on here ....It will always be the same though , I dont usually post about WGS but have done on this occasion .. You are all aware of the facts about the 3 IAR and the last 16 twice ..These cannot be taken away ..Problem is we lose 1 and he needs to go attitude rears its head .......I would rather be in our position than anyone elses at the moment ...
These anti Strachan heads probably didnt give him a chance from day 1 anyway they hated him before he put the tracksuit on , leopards dont change their spots ..
I think what he has done on the budget has been outstanding , he has made some bad signings and wrong decisions ..Doesnt everyone ?? we are human after all . Every club has its manager knockers but we seem to have more than our fair share on here .........he has now reached the same level as Jock after winning 3IAR ......Hail Hail WGS keep up the good work thats my say on it

 

All you Strachan lovers are quite entitled to like the guy and are totally entitled to your opinions. I don't like the way, however, that if you dare to criticise the guy you get shot down in flames and are made to feel like a second rate supporter. That annoys me. All Strachan's critics want what is best for Celtic, just the same as the Strachan backers do, we just don't think he is it.

Personally I was willing to give him a go when we appointed him and I had no pre-set agenda against him. I don't care that he's not a 'Celtic man'. That shouldn't come into it in my book. I'm not going to reel off all my gripes with Strachan as it's all been said a 1000 times before on these forums. I just wanted to point out that not all people who don't rate him have had it in from him from day 1 because that is most certainly not the case. And not all of us just criticise him after a bad result because I have been unhappy with some aspects of his management for around 2 seasons now. End of rant..... HAIL HAIL

 

you have to laugh at all this. 1 week he is hated, next he is loved. after the defeat to rangers earlier in season, it was end of world, a win week after.. world beaters. last week the same, a defeat to Aberdeen, and the page was filled with rants, new managers, blah blah blah.. 1 week later... messiah, best manager yada yada yada...

i just find this frustratingly funny at times.

Thats what being a Celtic Supporter is all about but deep down as true supporters no what a job he has done theres no getting away with it look at statistics thats all ive got to say bout someone who thinks strachan is crap

 

Aye the wee man has done a cracking job, he has made mistakes along the way but tell me a manager that has not.

Bring us the treble wee man, suppose even if he done that you would still get people moaning.

No, it's just different people saying things, just that after a win the negative folk don't post, and after a loss they post shitloads. It makes it seem like a real see-saw.

I don't think many fans change their minds in between matches really.
