Bobo gone at last??? -

Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish - who must be glad to be away from Ibrox - is expected to try and sign Bobo Balde in January after failing to do so in the summer. say your prayers he goes! appreciate all the hard work he put in for us but he is eating away our wages which could be better spent.

 

Lets hope this is true, because its obvious to everyone he has no future here.

martin o,neils to blame for the extended high waged contract

 

The board are as much to blame as anybody. My opinion is that is Martin O'Neil was still here Bobo might still be playing. Fact is WGS came in and was told to lower the wage bill etc. I don't think anyone anticipated Bobo being so * stubborn.....

 

It's very sad at how messy and protracted this whole saga has become over the last year. Hopefully for both the players and the clubs sake it works out and he moves on. Then Celtic get a big load off their weekly wage bill and can hopefully use that money for a player who can improve the team and Balde gets to get back on the field and hopefully enjoy a final couple of years at a good level.

I will always appreciate the contributions and good times Balde helped give us and have no problem with the player to any great extent. I am sure there is likely fault on both sides in how this whole thing got so messy.

John Hartson said last night that Bobo loves Celtic. He said that Bobo has a problem with WGS and wont sign this confidentiality agreement because, in Hartson's opinion, he wants to dish the dirt on Strachan.

 

Wouldn't surprise me. WGS seems to * a lot of people off, and not just during his time at Celtic.

i'm not anti-Strachan or anything, but I do have a bit of sympathy for Bobo. I think we need to hear his side of the story, and no doubt we will eventually.

I dont think its right Celtic are making him sign this agreement before he moves on.

 

Why? Obviously we want to know what goes on but what if he comes out with lots of pish which the huns can use against us or things that will upset the current team and give us unnecessary bad press when we have a treble to concentrate on, im happy at the moment that we are not in the papers for non-football related topics and I would like it to stay that way. He can come back and tell us the dirt in 10 years time when we have a different team and a different manager. Hail Hail

 

I really dont give a * what the huns or the press think. However I agree that I dont want anything to upset the team, but I'm sure all the players know the ins and outs of the situation anyway.

i just feel if the guy feels a sense of injustice he should be allowed to say hai peice.
