I have been saying for a long time that we give the ball away too easily and if we are to give 4 in a row a real shot we have to work hard on passing the ball about and biding our time waiting for the chance to break through for goal.

Hibs are much improved this season and will be looking for a result at Celtic Park.
We can't afford to let our bad streak continue.
I see this game as a turning point in the season where we can start a run of form that will take us all the way to the title.

I think we need to sharpen up in defence and create a flowing game in midfield. Big Jan must start. Why leave him on the bench if he's fit?

i dont see strach playing with misun or crosas to be honest but you never know.

we need a decent win to get us back on track we have rangers soon as well which is a "must" win but we also need to keep them in check in the meantime.

hibs beat us a few weeks ago so it will be tough going. we need to make our possesion count and get decent supply to the strikers who will score given the chance.

i hope jvoh gets the nod instead of sammy as hes been missing a lot recently and becoming very frustrating, he seems to give up to easily if something doesnt go his way

 

I'm optimistic about this one. This is the match we turn it a round and get back on track.

McManus header from a corner for the opener, then Skippy to bag 2 goals either side of HT.

Defence needs to concentrate on the basics - especially set-pieces, but also M.Brown has to be more commanding in his area. He can be like a ghost - no presence whatsoever sometimes.

I don't think we'll have problems dominating possessionn and creating chances, we just need to stick them away on the day!

I'd go with that but if boruc is fit i'd put him in ahead of M brown. Can see this be a high scoring game.

Just heard Hinkel may not be fit for this game. I'd put Wilson in there instead.

expect a lot of falling over from hibs, if they saw how pish we were at defending set-pieces last week they'll be trying as hard as possible to get them and cause us big problems. I hope we've spent the week sorting this in training.

This really is a must win. 2-0 to us.Cant see us conceading considering training this week will all be about improving defensively and Hibs main threat is out injured. Think this would be a good chance to see how Misun is and what better time to try him out when you have no other natural fit left back.

naylor wasnt injured think he had the flu or something so he could be back, hel be left back and then robson with brown in midfield, sammie and mcdonald up front and Boruc in goals

 

I'm hoping JvoH plays and that Naylor doesn't but I'm not holding my breath. Would also like to see Crosas on the park at some point.

The above would be my team, however Mick will no doubt be in the side. Hopefully this weekend will be the turnaround of our poor form as Hibs can be real poor at times so hopefully that will be this weekend!?

I'm not confident about this game. But if the players are feeling anything like me, they'll be angry and wanting to give Hibs a hiding. This is what I'd call a must win game.

 

Let's hope the players do feel that way. If they do, then we'll give them a good skelping :icon_mrgreen: IMO the support could be just as vital in this one. Just say we don't score early, then the supporters can't get on the players backs. The players need US at the weekend. They need to know we'll always be faithful through and through especially after a defeat. Which is why it would've been better to be away. Anyway we're at home so WE need to inspire OUR heroes onto victory. HAIL HAIL !!!
