Dont complicate this. This was always going to be a tough game, a 1 or 2-0 at best and the midfield and attacker did their job. They could have scored 4 goals and still we wouldnt have got the 3 points. This is all about the defense.

 

The quicker we get Maloney back the better. McGeady dominates the ball and does very little with it.

Zonal marking clearly doesn't work either. That should have been scrapped after the 3-2 win over Rangers last season and it came back to bite us again today.

First choice in midfield should be Brown and Crosas as well. Also Caddis is a bit unlucky to be dropped.

 

Why to we persist to use zonal marking? Even with big guys we lose countless goals from set-pieces... It's a joke, a flawed system. Simply 1-man-marks-another-man is the best way to go about it, none of this fancy pish

 

Because i dont see the point in saying anything when we win. I love Celtic, and i do still think we will win the league, but i want to see us play well! The odd terrible performance doesnt bother me, but its constant poor performances.

 

he was pish! he dribbled til he lost the ball, or put in a crappy cross. we nd to play crosas instead of hartley aswell, cos hes another 1.

 

As a captain, for the teams best interests he should be bringing that to the managers attention so I don't buy that as an excuse.

Woeful defence, midfield sat too far back, I don't Brown is happy with Hartley behind him and Robson isn't a LB.

So he's the most overrated player ever at Celtic ? I dont think so.
He kept trying today unlike Nakamura who wasnt even at the races. Now lets talk about overrated.
By the way i would have preferred him to have played for Scotland. My Grandfather was irish but i am scottish.

 

We have been playing * poor for too long now. Only good thing this season was beating the hun's, thats it. new campain WE DESERVE MORE.

Green and White you are correct, we cannot accept these terrible performances anymore, if we concede 4 against Aberdeen, what will happen in the next Old Firm game?

 

I would be looking to bring in 1. A Goalkeeper, 2. Another Striker who WILL score goals and at least move thier * feet, 3. Left Back & Right Back again to put pressure on the lads already there and to cover for injuries and 4. Centre Midfielder to help and play along side Scott Brown. Hartley looks all over the place of late. (I now await to be slated).

 

Mark brown was terrible but his defence didn't help him much, mcmanus was shocking i was hoping he would go off when he banged his head, caldwell has been solid this season but that the worst game hes played this season. the defence seemed to miss the presence of boruc.

robson is never a left back, hes a good midfielder, i would have rather caddis or hinkel played at left back before robson.

And Bobo is not in WGS' plans. WGS, ya poof...

 

Nakamura is now officially past it. He has only scored 1 free-kick this season, and for a supposed "Free-kick" expert, that's just not good enough. His corners have gone to * - I don't think he got past the 1st defender once. And his general play is just so ineffective. Can't tackle to save himself either.

This summer is the right time for him to go IMO. Those special moments are dwindling out big-time.

 

aye mate, but you can't win them all.. Aberdeen are the top team outside the oldfirm and one of the hardest places to goto.

Celtic got beat and thats that...Its not the end of the world! Come on lads lets get behind the team rather than wanting heads to roll, lets just hope the board release some funds for a few players this month, gimme something to shout about!
